Granny Square Bag in Progress: Lining, Finishing Touches, and Pricing
Right now, I’m working on a new crochet project that I’m super excited about—a granny square crochet bag! This classic design is full of charm, color, and texture, and I can’t wait to see the final result. At this stage, I’m in the process of attaching all the granny squares together. Like many handmade items, one side of the bag looks a little rough where the seams meet—but that’s part of the beauty of handcrafting! To give it a clean, professional look, I plan to line the inside with fabric and sew it by hand. Lining not only improves the appearance but also adds structure and durability, especially for something like a bag that will be used often. Considering the Price As I work through the final touches, I’ve started thinking about the price. I’m currently considering listing this handmade crochet bag for $75.00 once it’s completed. This price reflects the amount of time, effort, materials, and attention to detail that go into each piece I create. Crochet is a labor of love, and each stitch is made with care. What’s Next? Once the granny square bag is fully finished, I’ll be sharing photos here on the blog and on my social media pages. I’m proud of how this project is coming along, and I hope it finds a good home with someone who appreciates handmade accessories.
