About Christine’s Crochet Closet
Where Christian values, family, and handcrafted crochet come together to warm the heart and home.
A Journey of Faith & Thread
Christine Schiflett was born in Long Beach, California in 1974, where her grandmother first introduced her to the art of crochet. What started as a creative outlet became a deep passion — woven into every stitch with patience and purpose.
Years later, in Fort Worth, Texas, that same passion evolved into a calling. With encouragement from her husband and her unwavering Christian faith, Christine launched Christine’s Crochet Closet — a business rooted in love, craftsmanship, and her belief that “All things are possible through God.”

A Partner in Faith & Life
Patrick, Christine’s loving husband, has been by her side through every challenge and celebration. Whether it’s helping set up at craft fairs or praying together during busy seasons, his presence is a constant reminder that Christine never walks this journey alone.
Together, they believe that God’s grace guides every sale, every stitch, and every customer connection.
Handcrafted with Faith
Christine’s Crochet Closet isn’t just a business — it’s a ministry. Every item is created with Christian values at its core: kindness, honesty, compassion, and devotion.
Christine often says, “My hands create, but God inspires.” Whether you’re gifting a towel holder, ordering a purse, or taking a crochet lesson, you’re receiving more than just yarn — you're receiving love, intention, and faith woven into every loop.
Transparent Pricing. Honest Work.
Christine believes in fair pricing, both online and at craft fairs. Each item is lovingly made by hand, and no two creations are alike. Despite the uniqueness, pricing remains consistent — no hidden digital markups, no inflated prices.
She believes everyone deserves access to quality handmade items — and she prices accordingly to reflect both care and Christian integrity.

Custom & Ready-to-Ship
Whether you're shopping for a gift or have a vision of your own, Christine offers both ready-to-ship inventory and custom crochet orders.
From kitchen decor to themed accessories, she’ll work closely with you to bring your idea to life — guided by patience, talent, and the joy of creating something special just for you.
Private Crochet Lessons
Christine offers one-on-one crochet lessons at her home in Fort Worth for only $15/hour, plus the cost of materials. All ages and skill levels are welcome — from total beginners to those wanting to advance their stitchwork.
You'll need nothing more than a hook, some yarn from Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and an open heart ready to learn. Christine teaches with compassion and clarity, just as she was taught by her grandmother decades ago.
