Yes, this is my second blog post today—but I promise this won’t be a regular thing! I just finished watching a really informative video from Crochetpreneur called “Before the First Client: What Every Crochet Service Provider Needs to Succeed,” and I couldn’t wait to share what I learned. I won’t go into every detail, but this video gave me so much inspiration. I discovered five potential ways I can support other crochet business owners—not just as a maker, but as a service provider. As someone who already runs a crochet business, I believe I would be a strong asset in any of these roles. 1. Virtual Assistant (VA) This role involves admin tasks, customer service, and social media scheduling. I already have experience with communication and organization, so this feels like a natural fit. 2. Contract Crocheter A contract crocheter makes samples or fulfills product orders for designers or crochet sellers. This is definitely in my skill set, but as many of you know, I’m still dealing with a shoulder injury. Although I had a great weekend recently, I can’t always guarantee that every day will be pain-free. 3. Marketing Assistant This includes creating pins, writing newsletters, social media graphics, and captions. While I’m still learning the visual side of things like graphics and captions, I’m eager and open to growing in this area. 4. Customer Experience Pro These professionals manage Facebook groups, respond to customer emails, and assist with launches. I have experience with communication and organization, and although I haven’t worked on launches yet, I’m confident I can learn quickly. 5. Blog Editor This is something I already do for myself! A blog editor proofreads, formats, and optimizes blog posts for clarity and SEO. Since I regularly post to my own blog, I’ve been practicing these skills for a while. If you’ve worked with any of these roles in your business—or you see one you think I’d be great at—please let me know! You can email me at newsletter@christinescrochetcloset.shop and share your thoughts. Your feedback means so much to me as I continue to grow. Stay tuned! I’ll be posting a few more updates and ideas over the next few days.
